Before you begin customizing
your Dreamweaver template, you should have an idea of how
many pages your site will contain and what content will
be on each. Making a list or draw the structure out as
a flow chart can be quite helpful. Navigation of a website
should be very simple for site visitors. Information should
be presented clearly.
Navigation should appear in the same place,
in the same order, on all pages. Top level navigation should
appear on every page. They should have the feeling
of moving forward in the site. Top level navigation often
consists of Home, About Us, Products, Services, and Contact
Us pages.
Secondary navigation should also appear in the
same area on every page, even though its content may change
from page to page. |
