Download .zip file -- noting the directory/
folder you are sending it to. Unzip using Winzip or StuffIt.
Define Your Site
Define your site in Dreamweaver by browsing
to the folder created by the unzipped file. You may name your
local site anything you wish -- preferably something descriptive
to you.
Before proceeding to develop your site,
we recommend you save all your files in a backup folder on
your hard drive so you will have the original file to install
again in the event you need it.
Use the template package to create a new
site or add template files to an existing site.
Create new pages from the Dreamweaver templates
(the .dwt files), modify sample pages (.htm files) with your
own content, or reformat existing HTML pages in a site by
applying a template to them. For template packages making
use of the library items, do a "save as" with one
of the sample pages, giving it a new name to match your site,
and then add your content. |
